As Captain of the Under 17 team of Ratu Kadavulevu School, I am truly honored and humbled by our achievement in winning the 2025 Deans Trophy. This victory is not just for the players, but also for our school, our families, our coaches, and the entire RKS community who have supported us throughout the season.
I would like to thank our coaches for their guidance, discipline, and belief in us. They have shaped us not only into better rugby players but also into responsible young men. To my teammates, your hard work, sacrifice, and unity have been the foundation of our success. Every training session, every challenge, and every moment we shared has led us to this proud achievement. We at Ratu Kadavulevu School are very much looking forward to coming to Japan and competing in this prestigious world championship. This is a great opportunity for players to test their skills as they represent Ratu Kadavulevu School at the National Deans Competition in 2026. The whole team has excellent talent, a strong desire to win, and a strong desire to break into the top of the competition. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to compete in such a competitive competition and perform at my best. During the pre-season, we focused on improving our skills, training, and team unity, working hard to prepare for the world's best teams. I feel very fortunate to be able to go beyond rugby and visit Japan, which is recommended in history and tradition. We look forward to experiencing Japanese culture and learning about its warm hospitality. It is also a great honor to wear a RKS Jersey on the international stage, and I will do everything I can to make my school, my family, and my supporters proud.
Vinaka Vakalevu, and may we continue to uphold the proud traditions of RKS rugby.
