The Glennie rugby legacy ignited in 2014, when Shanae Ciesiolka claimed Olympic Gold at the Youth Games in Nanjing. That moment set a standard of excellence that has defined us for over a decade. By combining expert coaching with a professional-grade culture, we have evolved from a regional contender into a state-wide authority—culminating in our historic victory as the 2025 Super 7s Champions.

Representing Australia at the Sanix World Rugby Youth Tournament is an honour. As the 2026 Rugby 7s captain, I am proud of the grit and discipline our players have shown. For a regional all-girls school, this moment is significant. We have built our own pathways, overcoming limited local opportunities with ambition and perseverance. Now, we prepare to step onto the international stage. The purple, red, and gold are more than colours on our jersey. They represent our school, our values and the community of 700+ people behind us. We are determined to make everyone back home proud. We will play with heart and grit, honouring those who came before us and inspiring those who will follow. We are honoured to wear our Indigenous jersey, designed by a teammate and former captain. The design tells a story of unity, belonging and growth, showing how knowledge is passed down and how each generation strengthens the next.
