Imani Ward:
I've never been to Japan before or even played rugby outside of England, so I'm looking forward to playing a sport I love in a new environment, playing against teams I wouldn't have had the chance to compete against otherwise. It's going to be a really great opportunity to test our abilities as individuals and as a team against teams that will all play rugby differently. This will be great not only to make us adapt on pitch, but also to allow us to take on board different styles and incorporate them into our game. It'll be a great way for me to develop as a rugby player while being able to enjoy Japanese culture.
Camille Bruneel:
I'm really excited for the opportunity to travel to Fukuoka with the team and represent the college in an international women’s 7s tournament. I'm looking forward to learning and gaining experience by watching and playing against teams from different countries, seeing how they approach the game. I'm incredibly grateful and really excited for everything the experience will bring, both on and off the pitch. It will be memorable!
